Moving out of the Valley of the Four Winds and into Krasarang Wilds, we step away from vanity items and trinkets as the special rare drops - and move into epic pants! That's right, each one of the rares in this zone has a chance to drop their pants! Quite literally too, the pants are named after the respective rare that drops them. These pants are all epic, item level 440 and can be equipped at level 87. They are also all bind on equip, so they can be sold on the auction house or given to an alt. ^-^
The rares in this zone are all level 87, with health pools around 1.8M. They each have a 100% chance to drop an item level 420 rare quality bop helm of a random armor type and a small chance to drop a Small Bag of Goods.
As I have stated in a previous post - they all seem to spawn in around the same time, so if you run across a corpse or someone else fighting one of these rares it wouldn't hurt to check the rest of the spawn points to see if any others are up.

Ruun Ghostpaw (Pandaren)
Ruun spawns on the upper level of the Temple of the Red Crane. Those with flying mounts can simply fly right into the terrace he is on. Before engaging him in combat be sure to clear the add (Incarnation of Despair) that patrols down the hall in front of Ruun. This mob patrolling into you and using it's Last Grasp ability while engaged with Ruun has the potential to make things go bad fairly quickly.
Like other Pandaren Ruun's three abilities are Chi Burst, Healing Mists and Spinning Crane Kick. The most important thing to know when taking him (and other Pandaren rares) down is to interrupt Healing Mists, and run away from Spinning Crane Kick. Ranged players should also stand within 15 yards of him to avoid his Chi Burst which deals some pretty massive damage.
Ruun has a small chance to drop Silent Leggings of the Ghostpaw.
Torik-Ethis (Mantid)
Torik-Ethis patrols a very small area in the very most western part of the zone, near the path leading into the Valley of the Four Winds. I recommend that any lowbies taking him out to clear some of the mobs out of the area before engaging him.
He has three abilities to be aware of: Blade Flurry, Tornado and Windsong. Tornado and Blade Flurry are the abilities to watch out for. The tornado will move around and deal massive damage to anyone it strikes. Blade Flurry should be avoided at all costs, it's casted as a cone in front of him and will pretty much destroy any level 85 who stands in it.
Torik-Ethis has a small chance to drop Torik-Ethis' Bloodied Legguards.
Arness the Scale (Saurok)
Arness the Scale spawns in the Sandy Shallows - just south of the Ruins of Dojan. He stands right in front of a large pile of treasure with two elite crabs on either side of him. Be careful when pulling him. Although the crabs are neutral, they will assist.
Arness's abilities are: Grappling Hook, Vanish, Smoked Blade and Vicious Rend. The most important of his abilities to watch out for is Smoked Blade. He will use this right after he breaks out of stealth. This ability can be avoided by either using an aoe ability while he's in stealth to break him out of it early, or by not letting him stealth in the first place. You will have a moment to hit him just before he disappears. If he does vanish entirely, get ready to use some defensive cool-downs.
Arness has a small chance to drop Arness's Scaled Leggings.
Qu'nas (Mogu Warrior)
Qu'nas spawns in front of a tent in The Krasari Ruins. He spawns in an area with a lot of mobs; if attempting him sub-level 90 it may be a good idea to clear some of them out before pulling him.
Qu'nas uses three different abilities, those are: Devastating Arc, Summon Quilen and Titanic Strength. Devastating Arc is the ability to look out for here. It's a frontal attack that deals massive damage. Melee can simply run behind him and ranged shouldn't have much trouble moving out of the way. He periodically summons a Quilen add that does little damage. It can be cc'd or ignored.
Qu'nas has a small chance to drop Qu'nas' Apocryphal Legplates.
Gaarn the Toxic (Mogu Sorcerer)
Gaarn has several different spawn points around the Ruins of Dojan. Like several of the other rares in this zone, he can have a lot of adds around him. You should probably take them out if your going to attempt him on a lower level toon.
Gaarn really only has a couple of abilities to be aware of. Those are Shadowbolt and Voidcloud. Shadowbolt deals a moderate amount of damage and can be interrupted. Voidcloud hurts, it appears as a dark purple area on the ground and is VERY easy to notice and move out of.
Gaarn has a small chance of dropping Gaarn's Leggings of Infestation.
Go-Kan (Yaungol)
Go-Kan can be found sitting on a small boat in the middle of a pond just north of Crane Wing Refuge.
Go-Kan's abilities are: Bellowing Rage, Rushing Charge and Yaungol Stomp. Yaungol stomp does some heavy damage, but the range is small - so it's easy to move away from. Bellowing rage you need to be aware of. He deals a lot more damage when this buff is up, combined with Rushing Charge the results can be devastating. When he uses Bellowing Rage, he will be slowed though - so it is possible to just run out of striking range until the buff wears off.
Go-Kan has a small chance to drop Go-Kan's Golden Trousers.
Cournith Waterstrider (Jinyu)
Cournith Waterstrider spawns in the largest structure in Fallsong Village. I recommend pulling him outside of the structure in order to more easily avoid his rain dance ability.
Cournith has three abilities, they are: Rain Dance, Torrent and Water Bolt. The absolute most important thing you need to know when fighting him is to interrupt Torrent! If not interrupted, this spell will kill his main target. Rain dance hurts, but it is survivable. The rain droplets can be moved away from, this spell can also be interrupted (but I like to save my interrupts for Torrent because of cool-downs).
Cournith has a small chance to drop Courinth Waterstrider's Silken Finery. (Note that the name of the pants is slightly different than this mobs actual name- a typo perhaps?)
Spriggin (Hozen)
Spriggin spawns on the remains of a ship jutting out of the eastern side of the southern most island Unga Ingoo. Behind him in this screenshot you can also see the Barrel of Banana Infused Rum, which is part of the Lost and Found Achievement. So be sure to check if it's up if your already there!
Spriggin's abilities are: Bananarang, Going Bananas and Toss Filth. Bananarang deals a hefty amount of damage, just move to the side to get out of it's path. Going Bananas is the ability he uses that can be the killer. He jumps around, and if he lands on you it'll knock out over half of your health in one shot. It's rather difficult to avoid this, be ready for some defensive cd's and/or heals.
Spriggin has a small chance to drop Spriggin's Sproggin' Leggin'.
